CUSP Exam

& Fees

If this is your first time taking the CUSP exam, here are the steps to take: 

• Have an approved application
• Select a date you want to take your exam on
• Click the Register Now button
• Look for the exam date you want and click View then Register
• Click on Attendee and then Next
• You have the choice to select CUSP Prep + Base exam or select just the Base exam.  
• Now select your endorsement exam

You must select at least one endorsement exam to take. There is no charge for the first endorsement. 

To select more than one endorsement

• Scroll to the Additional Endorsement section and select the endorsement(s)
• Scroll down and select Next.

There is an additional charge of $190 per additional endorsement. 

If you are already a CUSP and want to add another endorsement to your credential

• Scroll to the Additional Endorsement section and select the endorsement(s) exams you want to take.
• Scroll down and select Next.

There is an additional charge of $190 per additional endorsement. 

If you have been notified that you need to retake an exam:

• Select a date you want to take your exam on
• Click the Register Now button
• Look for the exam date you want and click View then Register
• Click on Attendee and then Next
• Scroll down to the Retake exam section  
• Now select the exam(s) you want to retake

If you have already registered and paid for an exam date and need to change to a different date, you will need to contact the CUSP Program staff at 815-459-1796 or email memberservices@usoln.org.

You could be subject to an exam rescheduling fee of $75.
