Why do I need to take a Sample Exam?

The Sample Exam done in Examplify is to make sure you can download the software and know how to use the software.  The Sample Exam is only 7 minutes long and it demonstrates how to use the system to eliminate any worries about how to use the software on exam day. It also allows us to see if there are any integrity issues that might need to be addressed prior to the exam date.

Do I have to do the Sample Exam if I have already done it?

Yes, we ask that you do the 7 minute Sample Exam every time you go to take an exam because the software might have changed since you did your last exam.

What is the Sample Exam Password?

The Sample Exam password is:

My exam is not uploading (my progress meter is not moving)

Typically, exam results are uploaded very quickly (similar to sending an email.) Exam monitor video uploads may take a significant amount of time, so please be patient and keep your computer connected to wifi. You may close down your computer and start the process in another location if you need to relocate. The upload will resume once connected to wifi. You may work on your computer during this process.

If it has been a while, you can try restarting your computer and logging back in.  Sometimes this is necessary to give it a “jump start”.

In rare cases, you may have to contact Examsoft, who can typically extract the files from a computer.  Examsoft tech support: 888-792-3926

Uploads are comprised of two files:

  • Exam Upload: fairly quick and reliable
  • Monitor Upload: can take an extended period of time to upload and process

How to verify your exam uploaded

Tips for a Stalled Upload

If your video file is not uploading, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure that your device is connected to the internet.  Check by going to a website that you normally do not go to.

  2. Check your upload speed by going to speedtest.net. Confirm that you have a minimum of 2 MBPS upload speed.  (This is a requirement for being able to use ExamMonitor.) If you do not, move your device closer to your router and/or close out any other items that are consuming your connection speed (including the speedtest website).

  3. If you are still having trouble, restart your computer.

  4. After your reboot your computer, open Examplify and let the files upload.
    Notes:

    • Keep your device connected to power so that it does not go to sleep.

    • If you see a Retry Upload button, you can click it to start uploading files. However, but in most cases, you should not see this button as your device will start this process automatically.

Can I change the email I want to use for my exam login?

Yes, you can email us at cuspexamsupport@usoln.org or call CUSP Exam Support at 800-671-9466.

When will I get notified of my exam results?
