Typically, exam results are uploaded very quickly (similar to sending an email.) Exam monitor video uploads may take a significant amount of time, so please be patient and keep your computer connected to wifi. You may close down your computer and start the process in another location if you need to relocate. The upload will resume once connected to wifi. You may work on your computer during this process.
If it has been a while, you can try restarting your computer and logging back in. Sometimes this is necessary to give it a “jump start”.
In rare cases, you may have to contact Examsoft, who can typically extract the files from a computer. Examsoft tech support: 888-792-3926
Uploads are comprised of two files:
- Exam Upload: fairly quick and reliable
- Monitor Upload: can take an extended period of time to upload and process
How to verify your exam uploaded
Tips for a Stalled Upload
If your video file is not uploading, follow these steps:
-
Make sure that your device is connected to the internet. Check by going to a website that you normally do not go to.
-
Check your upload speed by going to speedtest.net. Confirm that you have a minimum of 2 MBPS upload speed. (This is a requirement for being able to use ExamMonitor.) If you do not, move your device closer to your router and/or close out any other items that are consuming your connection speed (including the speedtest website).
-
If you are still having trouble, restart your computer.
-
After your reboot your computer, open Examplify and let the files upload.
Notes:-
Keep your device connected to power so that it does not go to sleep.
-
If you see a Retry Upload button, you can click it to start uploading files. However, but in most cases, you should not see this button as your device will start this process automatically.
