CUSP Exam Now Offered Online
The USOLN is transforming the CUSP certification to an entirely online program!
The Utility Safety & Ops Leadership Network (USOLN) now offers the CUSP exam online (including endorsement exams) using the highly secure Examsoft testing platform. Examsoft is a leading provider of online assessments and provides a seamless testing experience. Now you can take the CUSP exam from your own computer at your location!
- The CUSP exam can now be administered online, utilizing remote proctoring by secure online exam software.
- CUSP Online Prep now includes the Utility Safety Leadership Review and live online webinars along with practice exams and test-taking tips.
How It Works:
You’ll still need to apply to determine your eligibility for the exam. The three steps to CUSP will remain the same, but you can now take the exam online, allowing you to conveniently earn the CUSP credential from your own personal computer or laptop.

What You’ll Need to Take the CUSP Exam Online:
- Computer or laptop with a reliable internet connection to download exam and upload results (WiFi is not required during the exam)
- Front-facing camera on the computer
- Access to computer’s microphone – headphones cannot be used
- Ability to receive and open emails from Exambot@Examsoft.com
- Ability to download the following programs onto your computer: ExamSoft (web portal) and Examplify (exam program)
