CUSP Orientation Webinar

Monthly Webinar for New CUSP Credential Holders

Welcome to the CUSP community!

As a new Certified Utility Safety Professional credential holder, we would like to invite you to a monthly CUSP Orientation Webinar on the second Friday of the month at 1:00pm ET.  You will receive an invite shortly after receiving your notification that you have passed your exams.

Continuing professional development is the foundation of continued competence as a utility safety leader and is a core requirement of the CUSP recertification process. As a CUSP credential holder, you are required to earn CUSP points to demonstrate the continuing professional development activities that you have take part in during the two years that your CUSP credential is valid. There are many ways to earn CUSP points towards recertification. The purpose of the CUSP Orientation Webinar is to help you understand the expectations early so you can successfully recertify your CUSP credential in a timely manner.

During the CUSP Orientation Webinar, David McPeak, Director of the Incident Prevention Institute (iPi) and Catherine Cox, CUSP Program Director (USOLN), will guide new CUSPs through the process of maintaining their new CUSP credential. David will also discuss the benefits of becoming a part of the growing CUSP community as you now have extended resources inside this collective of utility safety experts.
